This kit is necessary if the vehicle has 3rd row seats (must be removed), of has the floor configuration to accept the 3rd row seats under a non-structural floor cover. This kit is not necessary if there is a solid structural flat floor in the cargo area suitable for mounting and supporting the drawer enclosure. The jack is still accessible when the drawer is removed from the enclosure.
